mag issues(i think)

i just got the chaser for xmas and i love it..shot it a bit but for some reason the mag keeps shooting the balls out the mag when i try to load it....i accidently left a full clip in the gun and went to show my new toy to my buddy(to make him jealous ) i took out the mag and all the balls shot into the gun and i now have paint everywhere. im kind of upset...nothing wrong with the gun but the mag itself. anyone else have this issue at all? i got the chaser because it was cheaper than the other pistols and because i dont plan on using it that much. just like a last ditch effort or for really close encounters to not injure my buds but can someone help me with the mag issue plz
