lol, speaking about parts. the bumper i want for my truck is $1100. for a jeep its $400.

truck is giving me problems. it got a cold start this morning and is idling rough around 600rpm, very slightly in park and higher in gear. Reduced Engine Power sign came on this morning, then shut off after i let it idle for a while. check engine light has been flashing too. oh, and im getting 8mpg. so far ive found out it could be a lot of reasons:
cat. converter - which needs to be replaced anyway
TPM
bad battery
clogged throttle body
bad throttle cable
wiring issues

Ended up getting an '85 volvo 240 wagon. Already has Virgo wheels on it with brand new tires. 4 speed with electronic overdrive. Already put my momo wheel and short shifter on it. Also moved the over drive button to the center console face.

Put my Momo wheel and short shifter in it and some rear 5.25" rear speakers. Just waiting to tint the windows so I can install my sub.

Plans (in order):
Tint
Front coilovers- Short struts(Probably KYB Gas adjusts for a Saab 900), 300# springs, coleman coilover kit.
Rear springs- ~250# springs, summit shocks.
Ronal r9 wheels. 16x8 front with 205/40/16's and 16x9 rear with 215/40/16 with 1" adapters.
+T- Buying a b234 (16 valve) head off of a friend for $65. Already have it traded to someone for a 15g turbo.

Wheels are almost stripped down. Still deciding on color.



Also, ordered my coilover parts for the front, and rear shocks for the rear. Hope to have the suspension in by the end of January. Wheels/tires/adapters come after that.

I hate the grill on those. Makes me think of a mansions front fence... lol

Eh, I used to hate them tbh, then the coffin hood/grill grew on me some more. I'm still debating a flathood with the quad squares.

i need to work on my truck, but i wont have time til this weekend, and its supposed to drop below 0 again, so i may have to take it back to the shop after all...

My car is falling apart. Needs about $2000 worth of work right now, maybe more, starting to hear a slight grinding noise on start up, either starter or alternator, or both knowing my luck. Contemplating whether it is time to sell it and get something else or fix it. I could still get $4000-4500 for it, that with the $4000 I get from school in a couple weeks would be a good chunk of change to get a new car. I would really want to get a 2003 Jazz Blue 20th AE GTI, which, from the research I've been doing, run around $10,000-12,000 depending on the mileage. Ugh...

You already drive a VW right? Why would you sell it and buy another VW that will likely end up with the same problems? They are awful in terms of reliability and even worse for repair costs.
