My friend Jerd is running 2 inch adapters and has NEVER had a problem between 2+ sets of adapters he has owned.

Brake cables were the wrong type, so I'm just going to buy a set at the bike shop here, as well as new derailuer cables, and have my friend that works there put them on while we drink together at his place.

Well I even ran it by a few guys at the shop with tons of car experience and they all said that they snap. One of my co-workers has a friend that snapped one off going through the city here going 35 and he ran into a building because the car couldn't stop.

Sorry, but even if I can't find exactly what I like, I'll still go with one that has the correct bolt pattern lol.

VW guys use spacers and adapters all the time, never heard of any of them complaining about bolts snapping.

My co-worker uses spacers but not adapters.

I'll just get a rim that fits my car haha.
