Default mr2 ball chopping

I just bought a slightly used mr2 and after about 3 shots it starts to chop. I have disassembled the marker and lubed every thing.I have a new tank, new o-rings, fresh 9 volt, good paint. Any Ideas?

the ACS version or the version with eyes? What kind of hopper do you use?

I have the ACS. The hopper is a viewloader, when it chops it sends paint back into the hopper and clogs it

Is it a gravity hopper or force fed? What is your FPS? what mode does it chop in?

If you are using a gravity hopper with high rates of fire the balls are not feeding into the gun fast enough, this will cause the ball to be chopped because it cant keep a high enough feed rate for the rate of fire the marker is attempting to shoot at. Use a force fed hopper. It will help solve your problems.

The ACS bolt is one of the problems. I got rid of mine soon as I shot my MR2 and found all the problems it caused. Another is you may just need new detents. That is usually the #1 problem when chopping occurs. Another is the 25bps cap on the MR2 board. Without eyes, that is a rediculous ROF cap for that board even with a high ROF hopper.

Ultimately once I changed the bolt and added a lower ROF board to my MR2, the chopping probs went away for good. There are tutorials in my tech section for the MR markers you might be enlightened by to help ease your problems.
