Sas, I need moar power. My Snapdragon simply cannot handle me sometimes. Then again, it could be that I just need moar RAM, but either way I want moar of both. Dual core 1.2ghz and 768mb (or more, preferably) is a must in my next phone. Oh, and LTE.

BTW, I got a chance to run some speed tests on the Verizon LTE dongle on one of their laptops on release day. Get ready for this...16Mb/s down AND up. I nearly **** myself.

Drago, phones these days are quite literally mini computers. I know that I am on mine in place of a more traditional desktop or my laptop simply because it is much easier to carry it around with me. If you were to peruse forums as much as I and were simply tired of sitting at a desk to do so, a smartphone would be the logical choice.

I use my phone as a phone maybe once a day. I can't stand talking on phones, yet I use mine constantly for other things. For instance, work today was slow so I booted up Pandora and plugged in my headphones. Can't do that without a smartphone.

Wow. I heard it was pretty much the same as their 3G but with a different name... Apparently not!!!

At that speed i could run xbox live faster than comcast on my laptop with comcast's fastest and boosted as they say i only get about 12 or so

I'm looking at getting a new phone right now. I'm with Sprint and I'm trying to decide between the Evo 4g and the Evo 4g Shift. The regular Evo has a faster processor, cameras on front and back and a 4.3" screen. Evo Shift has a slide out keyboard, which is a big draw for me because I really don't like screen keyboards. I should probably go down to the Sprint store and compare the "feel" of them.

I am completely against dual core processing in a cell phone. If that's all Android is going to offer, I'm going to ditch them.

Sounds to me like you are trying to justify to yourself another Apple product, Doc. Why is dual core in a phone bad? Think of the possibilities. It will be the future, mark my words.
