I was going to buy a stock for my xtra but i could not find much so i built one today! It's aluminum so it's light, have not got it painted yet but it will get airbrushed digi-camo(i think) by my friend when he does the gun.It clears my 48 cu inch HPA tank but i am going to go to a remote line soon. Heres the crappy cellphone pics,What do you all think?? I think i will add a brace in the void of the stock in the am

looks good, but a brace will definitely help. reminds me of back in the day when people made drops out of aluminum like that.

Well i put a single vertical brace on it and it stiffened it up a bunch! Think i'm gonna like it,And gotta build 5 more for friends the i showed it to.
On the plus side i've got about $6.50 and maybe 30-45 minutes in it total |

Yeah it's cheap, the aluminum was 5.50 at home depot then the rivets so maybe less than that
I cut a wooden "buck"out of a scrap piece of 2x4 i had with a sawzall then fine tuned it with a hand grinder with a flap disc.I have metal shaping tools that i have made out of anything i see that has the right shape, this was made by clamping the alum.and buck in my vise then massaging it with a wooden T-ball bat my 6yr old shattered at a game.Cut the bat down to about a foot long works great on soft metals when you need to get a rounded contour |
