Hi I bought a spyder RT like 4 months back and I have done some upgrades and I really like the gun so far and wanna keep upgrading it...So far i have a warrrior clamping feed neck, evo 3 hopper and a 16" upgraded barrel...Im in the process of getting a pure energy 68/3000 hpa tank...So my question..Is it worth upgrading the bolt to a acs bolt from alamo city? I also notice there is no regulator on the gun and so im planning a setup..I want to put a inline reg and replace the forgrip for better consistency...Is this worth doing and was psi does the RT need to shoot? also i want to put a bob long cam drive asa and link the 2 with macroline...Also if anyone can throw out some more upgrade ideas that would be great..I know i could just gim happy but im happy with it and am having fun customizing it..

a antichoppin bolt will be good when you get to high trigger speeds. I dont use one but have never heard bad about them.

hi
i have 2 rt-09, on both couldnt reaaly get the fps up above 225-245 now have upgraded with the following spyder compact regulator, spring kit, new design hp valve, now they are at around 280-290 fps a lot quiter and less kick back had lots of issues trying to get up to legal fps before hand and no matter what i tried didnt work, put the valve in, and played about with the springs and regulator, will get a better regulator in future but cant ask for better valve and spring set up |

ok so update...so i took the gun out to the field and had no problems with velocity..im on hpa so i was pretty consistent...so my new idea....I came across a tadao board and upgrade chip for the vs for cheap..so my new project is making my rt into a fully custom ramping rt lol...so far the problems..no eyes..tadao board needs a 3 wire trigger switch and rt has only 2 wire so i ordered a 3wire vs trigger switch from spyder..hopefully that solves that..next im thinking of getting a set of electra eyes and having ansgear drill and install them and come up with some covers unless someone here can doit..so yeah i know its only a cheap rt but im having fun doing this and if im successful ill have the only rt with a upgraded tadao board
