Shawn, look at your Avatar and then your title.
![]() Otis: 1.) If you are going to play in a tournament of ANY sort, you are going to need to do research on even the most basic of terms we use in this sport. The Chronograph or "chrono" is one of the most essential safety tools we utilize in this industry, second only to goggles. You must know how to use one, how to read it, and how to adjust your marker properly on your own. 2.) Your velocity is too high and your paint is crap, and your hopper (VL Quantum, if I'm not mistaken?) is not going to do anything good for you. Lower your velocity, go into a real paintball shop that cares for its paint properly, and use the gravity hopper over that Quantum. Paint should be the lower tier for you, so it will GENERALLY be the cheapest stuff the store sells. Go for Weapons Grade, Spectrum, or equivilant. Do not waste your time on the higher grade because your marker cannot handle it.

Issues that could be the cause:
-Your loader is forcing to much paint down in the breach causing the paint to stack and get chopped by the bolt. -Your gun is firing to fast (sear trippers just don't go that fast without having issues, but that said I've never had a problem as long as I kept it 15bps or under). - Your using C02 and it's shooting ice into the back of your paint, moisture+paint are never a good thing. Also, just a FYI if your derlin bolt (the bolt you grab and cock) is white and plastic with an internal spring it's an ACS bolt. |
