Unhappy Still leaking thru barrel

My vs1 is leaking thru the barrel, i have replaced the cup seal and all the o rings except the striker (none in stock) but it stll leaks.
i am about to replace the valve body (as it says to in the manual) and the cup seal guide. do i need to replace the valve pin (it is very sloppy in the valve body) as they have none in stock at the moment.
Any other suggestions on what may be causing this?

Do you have the valve in the correct way? Larger opening facing forward? Inspect the body for scratches and/or imperfections. Check the face of the valve, where the cup seal sits, for imperfection.

Yep it in the right way and dosn't look like anything wrong, are they (valve pin) normally a loose fit?

I'm not sure how loose your's is, but they do have to have room to move and air has to be able to flow when its open. When you replaced the o-rings did you put any lube on them? If you did, what kind of lube? If your didn't or even if you did and you didn't use Dow 55, try that. Dow 55 will make the o-rings swell, hopefully giving you a better seal. Inspect everything again really thoroughly, even the tiniest imperfection on the body, valve face, cup seal and/or o-ring could cause a problem.

valve in the right way and looks ok but valve pin is "really loose" so will try a new valve body and spring and guide along with dow 55 (was using air tool oil) is there any chance it may be the pressure regulator

The valve pin has to have some play to allow air for blowback. This was an improvement from the old design with only a flat spot on the valve pin.

The valve face may look perfect to you but until you remove the valve and inspect it cartefully, you'll never know fro sure. It only takes a small nick to cause a leak.

HI all good news, it's working.
They had to replace all the orings with the fatter co2 bottle o-rings (which helped but still leaked)
The new stock VS1 cupseals didn't work (still leaked badly) but they tried a MR1 cup seal and voila i now have a awsome VS1.
