problem with asc bolt
okay so im the new guy and i was wondering if i could get some help. I have an mr2 w/o eyes. I have been chopping paint latley and was wondering what i should do. i dont know if it would be better to take the spring in the bolt and cut it down shorter, if so how do i take the bolt apart. or should i just compress the spring in the bolt for awhile and if so how long do i keep the bolt compressed.

k so ive had my bolt compressed for 3 days and it hasnt done anything
does anyone know how to take apart the bolt to cut down the spring

I had to leave mine a long time I cant remember if it was 1 week or 2 but it was a long time!
