what i did was (after i took the grip off) wedge my screwdriver in the big hole (facing the front of the gun) and pull up/out. and the small holes arent threaded, they hold the little nut that all spyders have in the frame.

Og ok i'll try that when i get home. I thought the rack itself was threaded cause in diagram it didn't show the nuts. thanks! good to know

Ok i got it out! Thanks DF. I got it out a little with the way you showed. Then i slipped a flat head into the back of the of the rack to pry it out. I have no idea why it was so tight. I guess just because it's old. i can't tell from your pic, DF, but were there cut outs in the m16 grip for a bottom line asa? That's where i slipped in the flat head, it really helped.
