From what i gather its just ubuntu bundled with packages that are availible. Definitely get 9.04... it's leet.

I have it stable, why upgrade? I see no point except for when the next LTS comes out. It is mine, I have installed and messed with it so much it barely can be called Ubuntu Studio. I have the files for Studio and use it for the GUI, but that's about it. All my other graphics and media devices were hand-picked.

I might also convert to Mint depending, it has a GUI that makes my legs wobble. So secksy.
