Electra DX - a chopper...

Hi folks,

first of all, cheers from Germany!
I've some problems with my Electra DX, this gun is chopping nearly every firing round. It's tuned with an other spring and I'm using a Evolution II hopper.
Can someone give me some hints to avoid so many ball breaks?

I'm new to paintball, so help is highly appreciated!

I wish I could help ya, but i'm pretty new myself I have a DX but it only chops a ball out of every 400-500 balls and thats with cheap balls! You would think somebody around here would have an idea!
BTW: love your cars!!!

you aren't getting trigger bounce are you? (the recoil of the the gun makes the gun fire again, often too fast for the hopper)

What kind of spring are you using? What is your velocity at?

The key to keeping balls from breaking is a three-part solution. First, you use quality paint. Second, you use the proper velocity and don't blow right through the balls. Thirdly, you have to use a good quality barrel that is not smaller than the balls you are shooting.

Hi folks,

think I got the point, the problem was too high pressure on my hammer spring. Just decreased it and it solved the prob! Now, everything's fine, just waiting for my 14'' SP Progressive Barrel. Hope it will be spot on....
