if the reason you dont want it blocked is because you are using a red dot...it wont matter either way, you use red dots with both eyes so even if one is blocked the other is fine
between what you stated i would go with a new electra if you are going spyder..but if you want a cheap gun thats a different company i really recommend the sp1 my buddy had one and we loved the thing, he got one, sold it, then couldnt resist and had to buy another one. if you really are gun techy and dont mind really taking care of a gun, find a cheap ion they are truely a good gun but like with anything it NEEDS SERVICED regularly. as in like after taking it out for a day of play to maybe a couple days..tops it needs to be relubed...with grease. not gun oil. hope this helps a bit.
