E-Trigger?

I have a MR2 w/eyes '08 and just get an Xtra '09 to my wife. I want to play speedball but I don’t want to go with a manual gun against electronic ones. I was wondering if I could use the e-trigger from my MR2? I know that the Xtra don't have eyes but I just disconnect the eyes from the MR2 and connected to the Xtra it just could work, right?????
