oil and lube?

ok so this ir going to be a retarded question.. but i have to ask.

i went to the local paintball shop and i was just looking around.. i remembered that i needed some lube and oil so i ask the guy.. then he asks what kind of gun i have so i tell him mr1. he then tells me that all i have to do is oil my gun.. no lube? is this true. i thought everyone must lube the bolt. he sid something about the bolt not being internal or something. idk.
but is he right. oil and no lube for my marker?

either oil on this page will do just fine, put some on the bolt and striker after you clean it and when you air it up it helps to put a couple drops in the ASA before you screw the tank on of course.

well i just put a couple of drops of goldcup paintball oil on my MR1 never lubed it up with like DOW33 or anything just the oil

you should be more specific. because now i'm tempted to put some castrol syntec in my my gun!

if i use a remote coil.. still add oil to the ASA? and if so to where?
