Not the body or the barrel, but the bottom of the grip frame to the fake magazine.... with the ASA being at the very bottom of said magazine..

basically its a cradle for the tank. my question is, what would keep the tank from sliding out the back or sliding up when you put pressure against it?

The ASA will be mounted solid to the magazine.... I just don't want any leverage from the tank hanging from it, the cradle with help support it from the up/down side/side movments...

if you make it correctly it should be just as stable as any ASA.
