Striped Threads

Got the neighbor's kid's marker here working on it and he has try'd to make a expansion chamber thread in place of the hose that goes to the ASA....

Well its all buggered up now..... what drill it out and re tap it to the next size up and thread in a fitting to reduce it back down to what ever paint guns use... 3/8" ???
