Used it, worked decently but it took a while. I'm going to bet that it probably stalled out. 500gb is a ton of space on one partition, you might want to repartition that. To do so, you'd need the LiveCD of GParted. Other repartitioners cannot move the MBR of Vista that's right in the middle of the drive, so you can only pinch off parts after those. With GParted, you can squeeze as much as you want out of it.

hmm, still at the same spot, although the files keep changing, and everything, it just keeps staying at 65.2GB and 64%, Will it hurt anything if I stop it now?

it wont hurt if you stop it and use the built in Vista drive defragger it will work fine for you.
Reboot the PC before you start the new defrag though.
