Electra 05 not charging

I have the electra 05 acs. ok, so i was just practicing my trigger finger when the low battery light goes on. Lately i had ben having some problems with the charging. So i decided to almost drain the battery. When the low battery sign wouldnt go away, i plugged in the chager. i have the quick charger. the manuel said it should take around one and a half hours to get a full charge. i waited a good two hours before seeing if it worked. I pulled the trigger about seven times and the low battery sign flashed. I might be getting an ego for my birthday, so i wont have to deal with this problem for very long, but i need something till then. Any ideas? thanks!

get a new 9.6 volt battery. the red color one

Either get a new battery or find a buddy or local shop/field with a good battery & try it.

can you try charging with the original charger that plugs in the gun and leave it over night and then try? if not just get a new one? or try a friends battery?
