feedneck/hopper problem

I recently bought a NDZ feedneck (no holes i think) and i have a VL Quantum hopper, for now, and i have to mildly force it in and out to get it to fit the feedneck. I am also expecting a eggy 2 in the mail, Im not sure if that would change things. I basically wanted to know if there was anything i could do to help this situation out, thanks in advance.
