Re-cocking issues has nothing to do with the power supply from the battery. If the battery power supply was the issue the gun will simply not fire because the sear can not release the striker.

Check the striker o-ring first and then clean all the internals of your gun and re-lube.

If it still doesn't work, post on here again.

What rubber piece are you talking about???
