Default Re: Pilot 08 vs. Electra 08

Looking at them side by side in comparison, the Electra is the higher-end model and thus slightly better. The price difference is minimal, so if you have the cash for the Electra, go for it. The Pilot would not be too far under the Electra, however, so don't feel too bad if your fund limitations lead you to get it.

Personally, I'd get the Pilot... not because of fund limitations, but because the "upgraded" parts on the Electra are not my personal preference and I'd be much better off buying the Pilot and putting on the parts of my choosing (those being a Dye UL in .692 bore, Shocktech lever-lock feedneck, and a CP Mini on/off).

Good luck with the marker you choose!

As far as Timmy VS Spyders... go over to the Vet's forum and post about it there.

Talking Re: Pilot 08 vs. Electra 08

my friend buy yesterday the spyder pilot 08. he said it is easy to install the battery. makes less noise than previous guns. look normal, you know is not that wow but is ok. the first upgrade that need is the feedneck.

I have a question to you patamoose, now that you bought the electra, tell us how you go with the electra?
