Wouldn't tarnish if you would polish it every week or so, but it would be way too heavy!

I'd rather go for stainless steel. Put a coat of car wax on it, and inside the barrel to see how it works then... :P

And yeah, nothing is made of titanium unless you pay a fortune for it. Titanium drill bits are only coated with titanium by a process of atom deposits, sort of like putting a glass container through steam.

i dont get it i meen my friend got a titanium lacrosse stick for about 150 bucks its pretty thick i dont see why they dont make a paint gun out of one
but then again i realy dont know much about metals

A lacrosee stick does not require the same kind of detail and machining that it takes to manufacture the parts of a paintball gun. Since titanium is harder it will require more time to machine and not to mention the abuse that the cutting tools will have to go through.
