Just got back from the show and I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed.
It was a good movie, for sure. I, too, will rank it with Spawn and Ghost Rider - both movies I enjoyed, but definitely not in my top action movie list. It had its good parts - the first 30 minutes, the first time Iron Man actually goes into action, parts of the final fight, etc. But it was definitely full of long, tedious moments. I understand it was meant as an introduction to the guy, and as such it's not that involved in the action sequences. Robert Downy, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges - all excellent actors and did a wonderful job in this movie. In my mind, Spiderman I and II, Batman Begins, Superman, X-men I and II, and Transformers were better movies - but don't get me wrong. I still enjoyed it. However, I won't be paying to see it again until it comes out on the movie channels. Vike's Comic Book Movie Ranking = 3.5 out of 5
