imagine it dead?

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to repair the inside of of a spyder worn down by the valve cup seal guide? My imagine has dimples worn into the body. This prevents smooth operation and causes ball choping. I believe the guide is hanging up in the indentations and causing a slight hesitation.
How can I prevent this from happening again? I own five spyders but this was my first and I am kind of fond of my shiny green imagine, its my baby.

Find a local milling shop. But it will cost more than finding a used image.

yeah, you can find a used body for about $10 on here. or, you could just try it without the spring guide, not sure how that would affect performance though.

thats how mine is. i didnt want to dremel the body, so i picked up a victor for dirt cheap and cut that up instead. now i use the imagine-bodied gun as a loaner.

Try using it without the spring guide. Should be fine.
