The settings always very on the distance I know lots of people who usually leave it on 3 or so. But if i wre you I would try to see if I could barrow a friends or test someone else first. You dont seem to sure of it to me, and that usually yeilds bad resaults. The Apex is a great barrel even better if you mount the tip on a better barrel but it does take some getting used to.

yeah im not to experience with stuff like that, i may just go with the smart parts tactical 20" because everyone that i have heard has said it was a very good barrel and its got the great mil slim look
