I don't think it's entirely fair to judge them on colour alone, when one entry doesn't show any colour at all, it could be (yet likely isn't) but could technically be 13 shades of pea soup yellow and green but we'd never know

It looks like a colour pic. Unless it's a high quality B&W, the white background should be grayer and the black wouldn't be as black. Though, the body does seem an odd grey.
