A W.A.S. is a type of circuit board. I've never owned/used one but have heard very good things about them. What version is it? I believe that 2.9 is the newest but you can always get it flashed later

WAS stands for wicked air sportz. http://www.wickedairsportz.com/ they make pretty much everything electronic for a paintball marker. boards, noids, wiring, and i'm pretty sure they make eyes, as well.
good stuff. |

They are the originators of the aftermarket board. Before Tadao and Virtue, there was WAS. Good stuff, and one of the best boards you can get for an Impulse.

The only experience I've had with W.A.S. boards was in my Quest and it sucked up batteris like no tommorow when the marker was OFF. If I left the battery in the marker for a day it would be dry by night even the marker was off the whole day.

I had a WAS board in 3 different markers and NEVER had an issue. The Quest boards seem like an isolated incident.

I had WAS in both my vikings and didn't have a single problem with them.
