Then please explain to me, why the graduations on the rear sight are marked 1-10...each number being for 100 meters?...and then explain to me how it is...that I can repeatedly put round on top of round out to 500 yards (The longest distance I've shot with it)?
The "man-sized target" thing was US Military propaganda, used to instill confidence in young-buck troops that knew what a .30 cal bullet does when it hits a body. While they are pushing out the M1 Garands, M14s and other .30 cal weapons, in favor of the 5.56 (.223 cal) because they were cheaper to produce and thus, buy. The stock AK is definately more accurate than people are led to believe. The front post sight adjusts both vertically and horizontally. The back sight adjusts vertically and a tad bit horizontally. Granted, not as easily as the AR series of rifles...but it does and is more effective than people think.

Do you have a milled or stamped AK? I hear the milled ones are more acurate.
