walmart is creating a co2 exchange rack for large fill tanks (i would assume not the massive ones), similar to propane exchange. it is being provided by blue rhino. wally world wont be filling tanks, that would be bad, this just allows refill tank rentals.

Wonder how much that will be. They charge about $18 for a propane exchange. I bet a 50lbs CO2 tank would be as much if not more, and that is if you alredy have a tank. More if you need to rent the tank. Oh well, another option anyway...

My bro exchanges his 20oz, its a rip off over time, $7 for a new tank/refill, and he's torn o-rings 2/5 times he's taken off his tank, and he lubes them everytime, I've been juggling 4 tanks and only torn an oring once, never lubed them Pure Energy > Blue Rhino

I did that with my 20 ounce...5 bucks brand new tank and refill...not bad if you ask me but they are only filled to 18.7 oz.

I used to have a c02 tank myself...you dont want to put in a full 20oz...very bad. Even on the fill kit it says to only fill it to about 90% of what it says. Trust me, your not getting ripped off.
