Mech or electro? Most mil-sims are the opposite of lightweight, unfortunately. For mech, the MR1 is reasonably light and is incredibly easy to maintain, responds well to future upgrades, and looks decent. Tippmann 98 is also not bad, and can be converted to look like a number of realistic weapons. For electros, the MR2/3 are pretty good, but are HEAVY. RAP4 makes some very nice, very realistic markers, but they are $$$. For my money:
![]() Spyder EMR1 on eBay for $140 ![]() Palmers Regulator mounted on the trigger frame $99 ![]() Smart Parts Freak barrel - can be found used for less than $100 This combination would give you a relatively lightweight, well performing marker that you would be able to add additional upgrades to at a later time without having to replace these parts.
