Imagine Question

Ok quick question. The new style imagine uses a tabbed feedneck and a flat bottom detent right? Also im wondering is it single or dual detent. Easy question I know. But I dont have one to look at and im having trouble finding pictures. Thanks

Ok I figured it out. Tabbed feedneck and a single flat bottom detent. I was thinking about getting an imagine body cause I like the looks and the cocking system better. I think I am just gonna halfback my spyder and get a bolt made that uses the vs series top cocking pin that allows you to pull the bolt with out pulling out the striker and velocity adjuster and what not.

On an older style spyder you will have to take out the striker and velocity adjuster if you want to take out the bolt no matter what. The bolt is attached to the striker and the striker can't come out unless you remove the velocity adjuster so therefore they all have to be removed.

Not true.... You can get a custom bolt made so the pin that links the bolt to the striker comes out of the top of the bolt and is the cocking handle. Pull that pin and you can pull the bolt out without removing the velocity adjuster and striker. Just like a vs but on an old spyder. You have to mill the body to get it to fit though. I just found out about this mod yesterday.

You actually got to have a custom bolt and a custom pin. If I told you who makes them id have to kill you.... lol.. Alamo city paintball actually. Ill have to get one made and post up some pictures of it...... I figure ill order it on the first when I get paid. Week turn around plus a week shipping I ought to have it by the 14th or 15th on next month.... Ill make sure to drop in and post some pics
