Nope, a reg controls the air pressure, all an x-chamber does is let CO2 expand

ok so if you have an HPA tank then the chamber dosent do any thing?

nope, yeah bigred's right .. if you keep the pressure in all the time .. you'll get loose screws after a while... and you'll break parts in your gun ... deffinetely not good
