The battery is a standard Ni-MH battery, it's just a funny voltage. A partial charge would still make it useable. If you have access to a multitester that will test under load, try testing the battery, just to make sure, otherwise it could be a couple of things: a short in the charge circuit, improperly seated wiring, board failure, etc.

It refers to milliamphours, basically, the larger the number, the longer the battery will last betweeen recharges.

No, for whatever reason, Spyders need that extra .6v to work. You should be able to find them fairly cheap either in the b/s/t section here, on ebay, or any of the online stores that sell Spyder equipment.

Go to www.thomas-distributing.com

They have a 9.6v called the MAHA Powerx. It is AWESOME! loved it so much I bought 3...then again I will never have to use the other 2... I also bought the charger. I was so pleased with it, i talked to the owner of the local paintball store and now he carries them, because he can't seem to ever get Kingman to send him a shipment of the Java's.

Last time I posted this information the post itself was deleted....I wonder why?
