my MR1 had the same noise going on, and when i cocked it it got a little quieter. i just played with it anyways and the noise had stopped by the time i was done.
but i was also playing when it was about 30* outside and my gun was brand new, so that could have had something to do with it too.. |

Just thought I'd close this one out. As I said, I did try changing the cup seal, and still had hissing. Well, on a lark, I bought another one and tried that. The leak stopped. Why a new seal leaked, I don't know. I'm just glad to have stopped it. Played today, and got nearly 100 more balls out of the same 9 oz tank as I did before the leak.

sometimes when i massly clean every single part in the gun and oil (sometimes replace) all the orings it works.
also check to see if you put the valve in backwards. lol. well, if it happens again, try that. |
