Default Re: Question about Valve screw / leak

my MR1 had the same noise going on, and when i cocked it it got a little quieter. i just played with it anyways and the noise had stopped by the time i was done.

but i was also playing when it was about 30* outside and my gun was brand new, so that could have had something to do with it too..

Talking Re: Question about Valve screw / leak

Just thought I'd close this one out. As I said, I did try changing the cup seal, and still had hissing. Well, on a lark, I bought another one and tried that. The leak stopped. Why a new seal leaked, I don't know. I'm just glad to have stopped it. Played today, and got nearly 100 more balls out of the same 9 oz tank as I did before the leak.
Thanks to all who helped out.
