Thanks. It's taken a while and is still needing the last few parts to get up 'n running. Unfortunately someone else beat me to being the first with a Nexion Spimmy...
I saw someone elses in January though I can't remember where. I think they got theirs done a few weeks before that. That means mine might've been the first if I'd got it done when I started it 2 years ago! oh well! Nevermind, eh?
The decorative block was a 'special commission' job... I had my Dad make it for me 2 years ago when he was a professional machinist. lol! It was a bit of a rush job as he did it quickly during his break (as well as milling out the top for the bolt and the bottom because I was going to use a 2k5 frame). It matches almost completely to the body except for the angle of the lip bit at the bottom. Other than that there's no 'step', up or down, on either side of the body.
