gun lube worked for me but you have to find one thats not too thin and not too thick..id say about the thickness of syrup..a little thinner actually..ok point is you dont want one so thin that it wont help and you dont want one as thick as grease.someone correct me if im wrong.

you want a non pentrating oil to use. such as air tool oil from lowes. but that is a last resort always use paintball oil. i use gold cup but when i ran out i used air tool oil for a week or so until my gold cup came in
