Would this be possible?

Hey,
I have a spyder xtra with a camed 2 frame right now that chopps like crazy and was wondering about a bolt mod. My friend said he would sell me his pilot acs bolt when he gets eyes for 15$.... I was wondering if i could do a mod to make that bolt fit in my extra. I noticed on the bolt in the xtra that the peice that sticks out that u pull back is screwed into the bolt. Would i be able to screw that peice into the acs bolt....If necessary i will i guess cut out the top of my spyder but thats if i cant find a deal on a rear cocking acs bolt and my friends is cheaper.
