Venturi packed its bags.

Hey guys me and coffee just got back from playing on a pb field that is close to where we are. When i took my gun apart to clean it i looked to see if there was any paint in the bolt where the venturi is/was. it was gone, i played on the fields speed ball and had quit a few chops and noticed a metalic something come out. I didnt think nothing of it and kept on playing. get home strip it down and POOF no venturi. Isnt it supposed to have lock tite to hold it in? also does it matter that its gone, i know that is a bolt mod but i wasnt going to do it LOL

I've had venturis fly out in the same way, and I've had venturis that wouldnt comeout after being heated with a lighter for 30 minutes..rediculous.

Yea most people take their venturis out because it maked the bolt
higher flowing<-----------------that is good

HA! this proves my signature " Im special." lol ok was just asking. Also every one at the field said "Awsome gun" so im happy. i ddnt get owned too bad got 1 flag hande on a attack and defend. took 4 ppl out in a assasin. got 5 "kills" on the attack and deffend. it was a good experience for the first time on a field. i kinda feel bad for sgtcoffee he got OWNED!

u no, my venturi came out while dry firing at least u didn't have to go threw the hassel of getting it out like some of the stories i heard lol.

at least you didnt have to remove the venture from someone your were shooting at, i tried to get mine and no luck, better try harder next time iguess

Well, good news !
It seems that the lock tight they used on the TL-R's isn't as strong as the old stuff, my vent loosened it's self up today and i atook it the rest of the way out. so with that mod done , time to move onto a polish job and see how that works out for me.
So far I have done a full trigger job on mine and booms, which has really uped the pbs dispersal. and I have carved a set of personel grips for mine. I will post some pics on the forums latter to see what yall think, they fit my hand real nice!

Heh, I got mine out using a Benzomatic torch. That sucker came right out.

haha ... it should .. in a matter of seconds ... seeing how hot torches are ... a lighter should do it .. if not .. a heat gun ... or even a torch ...
