Cleaning
hey guys, im a bit new to paintball. bout my second to third time paintballing, and i was just wondering do i have to clean my gun after everytime i use it? do i have to take my xtra apart? anyhting would help thx.

it is recommended to take it appart after every day of play, and oil it. But you dont have to do it. you should learn how to take the gun appart and how to put it back together tho....

Remove the bolt and striker(keep track of the order that you took them out). Swab out the upper and lower tubes. Lightly oil the upper and lower tubes(optional but it's what I do) with an oiled up swab. Put a couple drops of paintball specific oil on the 3 high points of the bolt and striker and spread it around with your finger. Put everything back the way you took it out. Do this after every time you play and you will have little probs when using your marker the next time -

i do a full teardown after each time i play, but that's excessive. i just like making sure everything is 100% clean all the time.
