when you're at a bunker do stay close to the bunker or away a little bit and how do you do a superman slide without banging up your gun

Not sure about the superman slide but as for the bunker it depends. If somebody has an angle on you that they can get you if you're back away then you stay close. If they don't then you can back off it a little.

Hit the ground with your body first. That should absorb some of the shock, but eh, who cares? Your marker is a tool: it'll get banged up some.

Is it ever acctually more useful to slide headfirst into a bunker? I've never done it personnaly only done feet first slides...

I did a superman once and puked into my mask when my "boys" bounced off a small rise in the groung.
From that point forward, I do a one-armed superman and take the impact more on the hip than the total front of me....slide on the non-gun side.

Heres an article from splat magazines "how-to" section on there website. Theres 12 tips in this article. But go down to number 10 and it has tips on how to do a superman dive.
