Pilot will NOT recock or fire at velocity

Okay, so it's a pilot, pre acs. I've cranked the velocity, shimmed the crap out of it, tried multiple tanks hpa and co2, cleaned, delubed, relubed, changed orings, and it'll just barely launch a ball across the yard. It also will not even come close to recocking. It has an acs bolt which does not change the symptoms, and it's in right now, but I've tried it with the stock one as well.

What is going on here???

Got it, and boy do I feel stupid! For anyone reading this in the future: if your recoil bumper is mysteriously gone, and the marker won't fire properly, it is likely that you accidentally installed the bumper in front of the striker.
