I've been searching around online to try and find an Apex 2 barrel with spyder threads, and have only managed to find one that looks right. Can anyone verify that yes this is indeed an apex 2 barrel with spyder threads? I can't seem to find any more information on this 3-in-1 kit that ANS has for sale.

on another note: did you read the description? it clearly states what it is.

The only reason I ask is because it seems nobody else sells this kit except for paintballonline.com. They unfortunately offer no product specs or pictures either. Even empirepaintball.com doesn't list this product.

I remember seeing a video demo of that a while back if it helps. Seems silly to keep adding adapters like that, but I guess it beats buying multiple barrels if you are going to use it on several guns.

Just to follow up on my own question, I did end up purchasing this kit and it works wonders for my Spyder. I own a CP (.685 bore), an oldschool 14" Dye, an oldschool 16" Dye Boomstick, and a 14" J&J Ceramic S2 barrel, and the Apex 2 is leaps and bounds ahead of all of them. Not because of the 'trick shots' it promotes, but just from the ability to shoot straight for crazy far distances.
I was able to nail people clear across the field by aiming straight at them, no arcing. I may be selling my other barrels soon, as this one is the clear winner. It is by far the single best upgrade on a gun I've ever seen. |
