pilot 09 trouble

hey there, i have been having trouble with my pilot 09.
The specs:
14" CP one piece classic barrel
CP short regulator
VLocity Jr. hopper
ninja 68/4500 HPA tank
ANS gear delux drop forward with on/off

every time i go out to play and get up to a high ROF my gun will burp and if it does not do that it wont recock its self. I can re-cock it and it will work but this just keeps going on over and over game after game and its getting old...any info is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried increasing the pressure in the reg yet? Also are you using the stock springs?

i have, it shoots at the right fps (280) but it was doing this with the stock regulator, and i am using the stock spring. should i get a different one? thanks for the reply.

Lawpass is asking if there is enough PSI in your reg to make it blowback.

Your problem is the O-ring on the Striker. 99% of the time with these type of problems thats what it is.

the o-ring on the striker is fine, but the pressure in the reg is enough ( im assuming that its enough because my fps stay at 280 -/+3) sorry if i sound like a total noob

Yeah, I was wondering if maybe the pressure on the reg was too low, but I'd like to change my answer to striker o-ring too please
Could also be the insides need a quick cleaning.

With my experience with the tech t hush bolt, the only thing it does is increase your velocity. That means your have to turns down the velocity, what that only does is gets you more shot off your air tank. If your running a 3000 psi hpa, it may give you 35-50 more shots, on a 4500 psi tank maybe 50-70. The biggest advantage is it has more O-rings, so if one fails. Theres a back up.

sometimes the oring striker looks fine but depending how you reassemble your gun sometimes the sear catches it making a little slit/cut
