so I got to use a 50 cal this weekend and was 100% IMPRESSED! It compleatly blew me away as to what I was expecting. Our shop was sent a few via promo from kingman, just a plain mech spyder.
It actually felt very comfy in my hands was balances alot better then any other spyder I have ever held. at 60 feet you could lap ball on ball with this compleatly stock marker (and paint they sent as well not sure the brand) It was very consistant being shot with HPA only verying in FPS about 3-4 FPS. It lost out in range however only very slightly, not even enough that I would consider it a problem. I was shot and it is compairable to the .68 a little less but you deffinatly know you have bein hit. Im a little hesitant to the actual amount of paint you actually get on you, makes it alot easier for people who want to cheat. The ball is however greatly effected by wind. You get alot more problems in these conditions, it is just about unusable that way. But all in all I wont hesitate to pick one up when the market turns over.

I think for woodsball and practicing it's a great cheap way to play but for tournaments... 60 feet isn't to bad actually. I would think it would be worse due to the weight.

Cheap way to practice or play woodsball??? From what I've found 200 count .50 cal is $10. Which means for a case you're paying $100. Not cheap in my mind.

distance was good, there wasnt a time all day from any distance that somone got shot that didnt break so I would say thats good too. We never tested breaking at a distance though. But for distance itself it was a little short but not enough to note. the price of the paint form what I understand is not supposed to go down, but you get more balls per box.

I'll stick to my .68cal. I already have everything to shoot that and paint is cheaper.

Are you serious? When they first came out I read a thing saying it's only going to be about 20-30 for a case. Screw that.

I think it will all depend on how much more you get to aa case, Im not sure what they mean by more but if you get 4000 a case instead of 2000 its the same thing as half price. The market is going that way its just a matter of how long its going to take to become number one.
