Im planning on entering a 2 man tourney later this month.
it is an x ball format. My quagmire is what kind of strategy should we implore. I have only ever competed in 1,3,5,7 man tourneys each one plays differently different plays for different amounts of people of the other side and amounts of friendies left I need some help

I honestly have never heard of a 2 man tourney, but my thoughts would be: 1 go right and the other left, or one left/right and 1 middle.
Good luck!

I shoot a tournament that does a 2-man division. Is this in an actual X-Ball format, or just the field layout is X-Ball regulation?
With 2-man, you need to MOVE. Do not stop until you hit that 30 or more off the BREAK. Get wide, shoot in, and get some angles as quickly as you can. You do that, you are practically guaranteed the win so long as you can gunfight and not make stupid moves. Also, do you have the layout already? That would help.

Yeah, you should be able to. I'm assuming you mean the dorrito side, or d-side?

You need an objective before you can decipher a strategy. Being couped up on a small airball field, your best strategy is experience. Especially with just 4 men on the field. Since you have no idea what your opponents will do, making a specific strategy is impossible to deploy till you see what they do. Your best bet is to not do the same thing twice. It's like sucker punching someone. Next time you confront them they'll be looking for you to do the same thing. Surprise them with something else. Inconsistency is bliss -
