I'm sorry bud but I think you are complaining for no reason. I read the thread and according to Giant these are their prices:

Sc Hardcore will be offered at quantities of:

200 rounds - $6.50
400 rounds - $14.50
800 rounds - $27.95
1600 rounds - $35.95

Giant Paintballs will be offered at quantities of:

200 rounds - $8.50
400 rounds - $15.95
800 rounds - $34.95
1600 rounds - $42.95

RPS EVIL will be offered at quantities of:

200 rounds - $10.00
500 rounds - $19.95
1000 rounds - $37.95
2000 rounds - $54.95

Now if you do the math on the Sc Hardcore you are paying a little over $0.02 per ball for 1600ct. Multiply that by 2000 and you are paying about $45 for a full case.

For the Giant brand you are paying $0.027 per ball, which equates to about $54 for a 2000ct case.

Doesn't seem like they are robbing anybody. They just lowered the quantity in the cases they sell, you really aren't paying anymore.

I am going to agree with shu, there is nothing wrong with there pricing. Its not like there charging the same amount while taking out 400 balls.

If you think 42 is to much for 1600 you obviously haven't been playing long. Years ago it cost over $100 for a case of paint, people don't realize how much cheaper it is to play paintball these days.

I still have a field by me that charges $90 per case and its a field paint only park. $42 for a case of 1600 balls isn't bad. Plus with the economy the way it is, fewer people are coming out to play and so fields have to find ways of staying open.

$55 for a case of evil is pretty good. i usually get formula or marbalizers for $50-52 a case because i wont touch the cheap unknown brands (like Origin).

The 1600(4X400rd) cases are the manufactures, not the dealers and field owners. Just another good idea like the .50 cal paint for regular markers some manufacturers want to impose on the community. Times are tough and seems everybodies trying a different angle to attract business -

$55 for Evil is not much over wholesale. Sounds like your irate barking might be deeper than just paint prices -

its true...they are charging a 2000 case price for 1600 balls.

the paint is utter crap as well. it doesn't break at all.

i shot someone from 40 feet away 6 times and i only found 1 ball break.
