So I went pheasant hunting for the first time yesterday and got a rooster (we were huntign on a game farm) and i wanted to keep the tail feathers as a memory. well i don't wanna just leave them laying around on a shelf or something, so i decided i wanted to make a simple home-made display. there are a total of 11 feathers that i kept. i dont really have any ideas, and i was wondering if any of you guys had any. i have some old scrap wood laying around... yea, i do. i have 3 15x7.5 inch 3/4 inch thick pine that looks decent. i'm pretty limited on tools. i have a table saw, a bench grinder, some power sanders, a cordless drill and a cordless skill saw. also, i was thinking about maybe using my woodburning kit to burn something on the wood. the center feather is 19.5 inches. now lets get some good ideas!
(note: please don't mention ideas that have metal or glass in them, i dont have the tools nor the experience to work with these 2 materials. thanks!) just tell me if you need pictures.-paintballkid ps: does anyone know the average size of a tail feather for a pheasant? i need to know if i should brag or not tell anyone else. lol

i like the first idea. i could just take one of my boards and cut it down and then use the bench grinder to make it a circle, then sand it. probably drill holes to put the feathers in?
