Mint 2k5'd Species Timmy for $200?
Well... there is a local guy that I ref with that just informed me that he's selling his Species Timmy. It's an all black MINT Timmy that I got to fiddle with today. It comes with the original matching 2k2 frame, as well as having a brand new 2k5 Alias frame. The only thing it needs is a 2k5 board for the Alias frame. The 2k2 has the board in it still too.
It doesn't have a reg, or an ASA, but other then that, everything it comes with is in mint condition. He's only asking $200 for it and I'm ready to jump on that. I can slap my Alias front block on it with the Hybrid Verd kit from my FASOR. Take the ASA off my FASOR, same with the reg and then buy a board and I'd be set. Do you guys think thats a good deal?

Yep, I've been working there as a ref for the past two years. I'm the head ref that you see pulling people into the field Fri's and Sun's.

I'd hate to rip apart my FASOR to build it lmao.. but I think it's worth it... seeing as my FASOR's grips are dead and are taped to the gun... I'm also bored with it now.
We'll see. He had a guy that was going to buy it and his Freak Impulse (also mint) for $400 total. So he's going to get back to me if the guy does or not.

You can't just slap your Alias front block on that body. It isn't threaded and will need to be threaded to use the grub screw that holds the front block on. Make sure the body has the bolt removal tool. Those are a pain to get a hold of but the bolt is 10/32 threaded so it wouldn't be difficult to find something to remove it. $200 isn't bad if he is going to give you some of the original stuff too. You can always sell that stuff and get some good ups.

I know... the block is on my FASOR and I tapped it...
 He has the grub screw. I said it's MINT. Hahaha. So that a yes then?

Go for it, I just paid $240 for a mint stock Species. Which colour combo is it?
